On November 9, 2023 I embarked on a two and half hour road trip to Blackwater Falls State Park in West Virginia with my eight month old German Shepherd. When we arrived at the park, the rain started pouring down on us as we ventured out towards the waterfall. In total I think we spent about a half hour at the park and twenty of those minutes were us waiting for the rain to die down. The trip there and back I enjoyed more than the park because of the numerous scenic overlooks on route 48. We had an absolute blast and can't wait to visit again when it's dry!
